I had a hard time getting a hold of Dad this morning. They said he was in the lobby visiting with some one, didn't ask who it was. But I got a hold of him this afternoon for a brief visit.

Today was a pleasant conversation with Dad. It was sunny in Yankton, and kind of cloudy in Princeton. Dad was recalling his time of on the ship going to Korea.

Today was a pleasant conversation with Dad. We had similar weather today in both Yankton and Princeton. It looks like fall is coming but we will be getting a little heat the early part of next week.

Had a short conversation with Dad this morning. He did not seem quite so tired today. Reminisced about spending Labor Day weekend with the VanBockerns for several years.
