The 4th of July

Here it is the 4th of July.  Looking forward to cooking up BBQ ribs, and battling with a chain saw.  Luckily the weather should be nice.

Upcoming Snowmagedan

It is supposed to snow this weekend.  I guess we just hunker down to see if they are right with the amount that we are supposed to get.

Obama's 2nd Inauguration

President Obama has taken the oath of Office of the President for his 2nd term Inauguration.

I am waiting for the refridgerator repairman to come and fix the humming our freezer makes.

And it is cold and getting colder

So the temperature will be plummeting today.  But, I have my lovey with me today so I will stay warm.

Trees can be tuff suckers

We thought we would cut down one of the two trees that was about 7 feet high after we had most of them cut down many years ago.  After serving as a feeding ground for wood peckers and other small pecking animals we were under the impression that it would be an easy job for my electric chain saw.

Not so, we (including Sam and his friend Frank) cut half of it down, that was about 5+ feet of oak that took a little longer than expected.  But, then to finish off the bottom as per the bosses requirements standing on your head to operate an electric chain saw took forever.

Eventually we decided to let the wood peckers work on it for another season, or at least take a swipe at it when I am feeling ambitious.

A Break from Sprinting...

Taking about a week off to recharge my bateries with my lovely wife Lori.  Then back to Sprinting at work. It was a pretty busy month of May with Katie and Nicks Wedding.
