It was foggy in Princeton this morning, but pleasant in Yankton. It was mentioned that there will be an execution on Monday at the South Dakota Prison, for a man convicted of killing a prison guard. Minnesota does not have the death penalty.
It started out snowing in Princeton this morning, but pleasant in Yankton. Dad and JoAnn were going to get their Church picture taken today. Dad asked about some face feature that is supposedly visible out around the lake. I am unaware of such a natural landscape that would look like that.
It was a chilly start to the day in both Yankton and Princeton. My old Middle School Principal Lee Kanago had passed away. He mentioned how he saw the Harlem Globe Trotters played in Yankton once when he was a little kid. They played at the High School Auditorium (which was known as the Middle School Auditorium in my day). That was before Yankton Colleges Nash Gym was built or the new High School with its space. With the new larger venues that Yankton has, I doubt that they would bring in the Harlem Globe Trotters again.
Positive start this morning with no technical glitches. It was a sunny in Yankton with official temp of (39) their thermometer had 51, and in Princeton it was cloudy with the official temp at (38). Eggs and sausages for breakfast. Talked about where was the spot people went to back in the day? State Lake was the answer.
