2019-03-23 Conversation With George

Melting is continuing. In Princeton even though we have had warmish temperatures we still had snow on our roof. The NY Times stated that there was concern about the Gavins Point Dam. However, in the P&D today there was no need for concern.

2019-03-16 Conversation With George

The big melt has begun. In Princeton we have managed to bypass any issues so far. In Yankton Dad has issues with the snow melt going into his basement. It sounds like a real mess and lots of work ahead to get it cleaned up. The whole town of Yankton is having water issues. Talked about the passing of my high school principal Ken Henseler.

2019-03-09 Conversation With George

We are supposed to get a fair amount of snow today in Princeton, not as much in Yankton. He mentioned as a kid that he had some kind of an unusual nick name. It was supposed to be his name backwards but when he pronounced it didn't sound like it was George Smith backwards.

A cold start in both Yankton and Princeton. It was a short conversation today, I was helped by a couple of grand kids.
