2020-04-18 Conversation With George
JoAnn answered the room phone today. After a unusually cool week in Minnesota it is going to be relatively pleasant today here, and it looks like good weather in Yankton as well. Dad was finishing up breakfast when I called. He said it was some kind of meat like a meatball, I was suggesting that it might have been sausage. Gave Dad the news about baby Russell coming into the world on April 14th.

2020-04-11 Conversation With George
Called the main phone again, there was a bit of familiarity when they answered that it was Saturday morning. We have been watching Ken Burns Country Music and I oddly attracted to the music of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. Dad had some familiarity when I talked about Gene Autry and their efforts durring WWII. Pleasant day today in both Yankton, and Princeton however, there is a winter storm advisory for Yankton tomorrow.

2020-04-04 Conversation With George
I had to use the main phone to get a hold of Dad today nobody answered the room phone. Sunny but cool on this day in both Yankton and Princeton. Talked about Beaver Lake that is north of Yankton. I had always heard it referred to as State Lake, we went fishing their as a family in the mid 60's. As the story I recall that was the spot that Dad met Mom.
