Another very interactive conversation this week. It was cloudy in Yankton, and getting cloudy in Princeton we both were expecting some welcome rain. We are heading to Iowa for Lori's Mom's Kallheim/Groe family reunion.

2021-06-19 Conversation With George

Another very interactive conversation this week. He acknowledged that the sun was shining in Yankton, as well as the sun was shining in Princeton. We both are to expect some rain tomorrow. I gave a restaurant report of a new Italian Restaurant that we went to last night, and trying out another new one for lunch today. Whishing everyone a Happy Fathers Day.

It is Czech Day's in Tabor SD this weekend. They missed the yesterday's parade because of the heat, and probably will not stay for the Polka Mass at 5:00 in the evening. The goal will be to stay hydrated today.

What a difference a week makes. This week Dad was very interactive with me. Talked about the weather and getting a new shed. The nurse I assume was suspecting that Dad might have gave up talking came to check in, at that point I thought we would end on a good note. PS Happy Birthday to Kathy.

Talk of the hot weather. They just got back from their big trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota, so they missed out on voting in the SD primary, "Some woman was running". A comment came up about the reason Grampa Broome did not work on Saturday's. The possible 1/2 sister who helps out at the VFW. And wishing Kathy a Happy Birthday.

Not a very productive conversation today. Dad did understand who I was today, and then I got put on hold twice. The first time on hold was relatively short however, the second time I never did get back to him.

Starts out with the normal Weather talk, then talk of upcoming Tabor Czech Days in a couple of weeks, and the wonderful Ribfest happening just two blocks north of Dad's house. Question of what to do with a bottle of wine that has been opened and in the fridge for a couple of years.
